Holidays at Hester Creek
We’re ringing in the holidays at Hester Creek Estate Winery with a lineup of three winter-friendly events!
Of all the places to visit in Canada, the Okanagan Valley is an absolute favourtite amongst tourists from near and far. The hot, sunny days, warm evenings, time at the beach, activities and attractions make the Oliver/Osoyoos region ideal for families to gather for a ton of fun in the sun. But for the locals of the valley, we want to bring the winter season to your attention. Picture moody days curled up in front of the fireplace at The Villa, those hearty meals created by Chef Adair and his team at Terrafina, and delicious wine to be tasted year round at our Wine Shop. Sure, it’s a little quieter here, but this just gives you more time to learn about the wine you’re drinking and participate in one-off events that become available for those willing to make the trip up Road 8.
This winter is no different. You’ll have to stay tuned throughout the winter as we’ll be posting events closer to the dates on which they will be held, but for this coming November/December season, we have three main events for you to enjoy at Hester Creek.
1. Winter in Wine Country
What: As part of the Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country’s Winter in Wine Country event, we will be hosting guests for complimentary mulled wine made from our Terrafina at Home collection.
Where: Our kitchen at the Wine Shop
When: November 24th, 25th & 26th and December 1st, 2nd & 3rd
Reservations: No reservation necessary. This event is first come, first served.
Price: Complimentary
Mulled wine using our Terrafina at Home Mulled Wine kids and our award-winning Character White.
2. Holiday Cooking Class Dinners
What: Join us for one of our holiday-themed Cooking Class Dinners hosted by Chef Adair Scott of Terrafina at Hester Creek.
Where: Our kitchen at the Wine Shop
When: December 14th, December 15th & December 16th
Reservations: The Holiday Cooking Class Dinners are by reservation only.
Price: $150 per person plus tax and gratuity
3. New Year’s Eve After Hour Happy Hour
What: Ring in the New Year early-bird style with Hester Creek Estate Winery and join us for a pre-party celebration to kick off your evening on Sunday, December 31, 2023 from 3pm to 6pm.
Where: The Wine Shop at Hester Creek
When: December 31st, 2023 from 3pm to 6pm
Reservations: New Year’s Eve After Hour Happy Hour is by reservation only.
Price: $20 per person plus tax and gratuity
