Tasting Room
The warm welcome at the door is just the start of your visit to the tasting room at Hester Creek Estate Winery. With a variety of wine tasting experiences, events that bring friends together, and a wine shop full of bespoke products, we invite you to join us for your ultimate wine experience in the South Okanagan.
The tasting room is open daily 10:00am to 4:00pm with complimentary tastings until 3:30pm.
Please note: The Tasting Room will be closed on December 25, December 26 and January 1.
Complimentary Tastings
We offer complimentary wine tastings at the bar on a first come, first served basis. Our premium wines, The Judge and Garland, carry a tasting fee of $5.00, which is waived upon purchase of those premium wines.
Parties larger than six people will be divided into smaller groups.
Signature Tasting
Join us for a seated tasting experience hosted by a Hester Creek Wine Ambassador. Set in our beautiful Bench Club Lounge, this 40-minute experience takes you through a skillfully selected flight of our premium wines.
$20 per person. No minors or pets.
Estate Tour & Tasting
Take a journey through the cellar and learn about winemaking at Hester Creek. After the tour, enjoy a flight of wines selected by your host in the Bench Club Lounge. Please allow up to 90 minutes for this experience.
$30 per person. No minors or pets.
Offered May through October.

The Patio
The patio at Hester Creek offers a beautiful setting with unsurpassed views of the estate. It officially opens as soon as the weather starts warming up for summer and seating is first come, first served. We offer Hester Creek wine by the glass or bottle at our winery prices and have a selection of fresh items available in our deli area, including cheese, cold cuts, salty snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. We have seating available on the Vineyard Patio and Oak Terrace with picnic space on the lawn.

The Okanagan Valley is home to an incredible array of talented and up-and-coming musicians. Every Saturday and Sunday from May to October, we offer live music on the patio as a complimentary, first come, first served experience. As Hester Creek Director of Operations would say, “All things good in life: wine, food and music!”
* Due to licensing requirements, patio table seating is maximum eight people and group picnic size on the lawn is 12 people. *
Tasting Room and Patio Etiquette
Dogs are welcome in the Wine Shop, the Oak Terrace and lawn. Due to licensing and/or safety, we do not allow dogs in the Bench Club Lounge, cellar or on the Vineyard Patio. We kindly ask that dogs always remain on leash while on the premises. As the Wine Shop has a high ceiling prone to echoing, we ask that if your dog is barking, you take it outside.
The patio may fill up fast. In this case, you are welcome to bring your own chairs or blankets to sit on the lawn. However, we do not allow umbrellas.
We have a deli fridge with charcuterie items available for purchase. Due to licensing, the Vineyard Patio area is reserved for those who are exclusively purchasing food from Hester Creek. Guests are welcome to bring their own picnic lunches for the Oak Terrace and/or lawn, but please keep in mind that no offsite alcohol will be permitted.
