Vibrant Vineyard Gatherings in the Okanagan

Winter in the Okanagan is when all the events happen: join us for some of our vibrant vineyard gatherings in the Okangan this holiday season!

Hester Creek Estate Winery, located in Oliver, BC, is situated on 115 acres of property, 88 acres of which are planted vineyard post-to-post. In the summertime, this means that all of our gatherings take place outside with vineyard views, walks and tours. In the winter season, however, the Okanagan brings extremely chilly and blustery days making time outside difficult, if not downright unpleasant. As such, we encourage guests to stay cozy up at The Villa, to make reservations for dining in our restaurant, Terrafina and/or come to the Wine Shop for a wine tasting and holiday shopping.

This year, we added four new never-done-before events: our Holiday Cooking Class Dinners and our New Year’s After Hour Happy Hour Event. We’re even taking part in the Winter in Wine Country event by providing sip and savour options as well as complimentary mulled wine made with our Terrafina at Home mulled-wine kits.

We’re happy to report though that all of these experiences didn’t quite satiate the appetite of our loyal guests – everyone was so excited that we sold out of our Holiday Cooking Class Dinners within a couple of days and the New Year’s After Hour Happy Hour Event filled up in no time flat. As such, we’ve added another Cooking Class Dinner to our calendar on December 1, 2023.

This four-course dinner is prepared by Chef Adair Scott from Terrafina. Watch and learn as Chef takes you through the process of making a gourmet meal and talks about the skill of food and wine pairing.

This event takes place in our state-of-the-art kitchen at the Wine Shop at Hester Creek and is available by reservation only. We look forward to seeing you over the holiday season for some vibrant vineyard gatherings in the Okanagan, especially here at Hester Creek Estate Winery.
