Taste, Dine and Stay

When Hester Creek owner, Curt Garland, first saw the property at Hester Creek in Oliver, BC, the landscape reminded him of rolling Tuscan vineyards in Italy. From there, he began realizing his vision of creating an estate that would encompass a bespoke experience for those who love to taste, dine and stay.

Since that date in 2004, he has done just that. In 2007, construction on The Villa was completed. Located at the apex of our historic vineyard property, the six luxury suites at The Villa were designed to give guests the view of a lifetime. Add that to the warm hospitality provided by Melissa and her team, the bottle of wine upon check-in, gourmet breakfast each morning of a guest’s stay, and the proximity to our Wine Shop and restaurant, Terrafina, it’s no wonder that The Villa at Hester Creek has been ranked number one on TripAdvisor for Bed and Breakfasts in Oliver, BC. Not only that, but in September of 2023, our restaurant, Terrafina, was also ranked number one on TripAdvisor for restaurants in Oliver.

While the Wine Shop is open year-round with complimentary tastings, The Villa at Hester Creek and Terrafina are just getting ready for their grand openings for the 2024 season. February 14th, Valentine’s Day, marks the first evening that The Villa will be open and Terrafina will be hosting a special three-course culinary experience for the occasion before officially opening for the season on February 16th.

This same week, the Wine Shop will be welcoming guests who would like to make a reservation for an elevated tasting experience (the first time ever that we’ve done this in February) with Signature Tastings.
