Although born an island baby, Mariclare’s heart and soul has always belonged to the Okanagan. Hot summers days and snowboarding winters couldn’t make her happier. Growing up on her parents hobby farm with goats, chickens rabbits and the beloved family cats and dogs, was a happy time. At a very young age she started selling flowers, fruits and vegetables at the local farmers markets. This was when she got her first taste of sales and hospitality and you might say she was hooked. Mariclare started in restaurant industry at 16, this brought new changes, growth, but also an acknowledgment of her fondness, for working with the public. Joining the Hester creek team as Assistant Manager in 2022 was a happy cohesion of her love for wine and delicious food. In her free time she enjoys snowboarding, snowshoeing, volleyball and well as time with family and friends.
