Lori Pike
Public Relations
Having spent every summer of her childhood in the wild blueberry fields of her 9th generation family farm, Lori became enchanted with the Okanagan following her first visit in 2003. The beauty of the region, the world-class wine quality, and the characters in the business prompted her to take WSET classes, start a wine blog, found a wine club, and ultimately switch from a career in security software to communications director for the Mark Anthony Group in 2008. Responsible for public relations for Mission Hill Family Estate and their other VQA wines she was fortunate to thereafter work with other historic wineries across BC and California as well as teach at Okanagan College. Lori is thrilled to join the team at Hester Creek Estate Winery to promote their celebrated old vines and wines. Lori lives in Osoyoos with her husband Mike, daughter Emily, and dog Betsy. In the summer when not gardening or cycling, she enjoys a refreshing paddleboard on Lake Osoyoos.
