Donate to Oliver Elementary School!

Since 2012, Hester Creek Estate Winery has hosted the Garlic Festival. This festival is open to all guests and addmision is by donation to the Oliver Elementary School Farm to School lunch program. The festival generally sees over 2000 guests, enjoying all things garlic! This year, we are unable to host such an event and have transitioned to a virtual platform. We are still hoping to capture donations for the school’s programs to support their students and families in need.

100% of donations will go directly to the school!

Peter Young worked as Chef in several of the finest restaurants in the South Okanagan developing many of the products that Wineland Dressings now offer. Wineland Dressings was created because customers dining at Hillside Estate Winery constantly asked if they could purchase the salad dressings served in the restaurant. Being at a winery meant access to bottles and a retail sales outlet and so Wineland Dressings was born.
Wineland Dressings now has its’ own production facility and the range of products has expanded to include chutneys and sauces.

About Lone Willow:
“My wife, Shelagh, and myself, both born in Vancouver, have been making wine since 1976. In 1991 we experimented making Wine Jelly with our wines and in 1992 formed Lone Willow Enterprises. We incorporated two years later. We produce artisan wine based jellies and syrups as well as wine based candies. We also now produce cider and beer based jellies. Photos of our products can be seen on our website at www.winejelly.ca . We offer our services to Wineries and Craft Breweries where we take their wine, cider, or beer and produce jellies and syrups from it. We then custom label the product. This now becomes your product and is another way of branding your name to the public. We supply individual jars as well as attractive gift boxes. We now produce jellies for over 30 Wineries, Cider Houses, and Breweries in BC.”

We will wrap up our Virtual Garlic Festival week with live (not so virtual) music! Join us at the winery October 2nd, 3rd, and 4th from 1-4pm each day. Music is complimentary and all seating is first come, first served. All guests are welcomed socially distanced and served responsibly.

Friday October 2nd: Joshua Smith
