The health and well-being of our community, treasured guests, and staff members is our first priority. In light of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and out of an abundance of caution, Hester Creek Estate Winery has decided to temporarily close our Villa for two weeks effective March 18. Our Terrafina Restaurant is also temporarily closed to in-restaurant dining. We are in the planning process of looking at take-out and delivery options.
Our winery is remaining open for visitors to purchase wine, however, we will not be offering tastings. Our wine club and online store are fully operational. We are taking all necessary measures, and then some, to ensure the comfort, health and safety of our patrons and staff, and are diligently monitoring updates from Interior Health, the B.C. Centre for Disease Control and the federal government. In addition to our current stringent safety practices and cleanliness standards, we have implemented rigorous additional sanitizing precautionary measures. We have provided staff training specifically related to COVID-19 on safety and wellness best practices and are requiring employees with any symptoms of illness to remain at home. We kindly ask our guests to exercise the same level of caution should you not feel well.
In these times of uncertainty, the Hester Creek family thanks you for your trust and loyalty. As a B.C. owned and operated company, we are also committed to the financial well-being of our community and employees.
As the news of COVID-19 continues to unfold, we will continue to communicate details on our website and social platforms. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us directly by phone at 1-866-498-4435 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions or concerns.
