Adair Scott

Restaurant Chef

Growing up on the family farm in Prince George, Adair learned the value of a locally sourced meal from a young age. His earliest memories consist of hunting ducks, foraging in the local woods and plugging a drain with a beet – making it clear that his childhood was the perfect starting point of a budding culinary career. His professional career started when he was just a teenager, working in a local restaurant, and led to him completing his Red Seal through culinary school at Okanagan College and Vancouver Community College. Once his studies were complete, Adair went on to make a name for himself both in Canada and Australia before returning to British Columbia where he has built his reputation as one of the top chefs in the Okanagan. At Terrafina, Adair has centred his focus on sustainability, using ingredients fresh from Terrafina’s garden, and has honed his skills on creating culinary experiences that bring together the community. When not in the kitchen, Adair can be found enjoying time with his family or connecting with his roots by foraging and hunting in the local fields and forests.
