Old Vine Trophy
We’re thrilled to announce that we have been shortlisted for the Old Vine Trophy by the International Wine & Spirit Competition in collaboration with The Old Vine Conference 🍾
Our roots run deep at Hester Creek with vines that were planted 55 years ago by BC wine pioneer, Joe Busnardo 🍇
Today, under the ownership of Curt Garland, we celebrate the legacy of these old vines and the historic terroir on which our estate takes root 🌱
Congrats as well to the other producers on the shortlist – it’s an honour to be listed with you:
Cape Mentelle, Margaret River, Australia
Clairault Streicker, Margaret River, Australia
Le Bertole, Valdobbiandene, Italy
Terre Paisible, Western Cape, South Africa
Thank you to the judges, Dirceu Vianna Junior MW, Independent Wine Consultant, Educator and Author; Rebecca Palmer, Associate Director at Corney & Barrow; Mick O’Connell MW, Portfolio Developer at Findlader & Co, Belinda Stone from The Old Vine Conference and Christelle Guibert, CEO of the IWSC.
The Old Vine Trophy award will be announced on October 19th in London, England.
